 | Kitty & Puppy Haven is a rescue and rehabilitation centre, based in Johannesburg South Africa, that takes in injured, abandoned, traumatisedor abused dogs, puppies, kittens and cats. Upon arrival animals receiveveterinary treatment for any illnesses, and they are vaccinated, dewormed and sterilised. FORA
| FORA is a pro-life shelter for homeless dogs and cats, opened in August 2003. It is a non-profit organisation run by a dedicated team of volunteers. The shelter, based in Roodepoort, Gauteng has expanded to accommodate 250 dogs and 80 cats. It is a safe haven for homeless and abused animals to live whilst awaiting adoption, or failing this, to live out the rest of their lives in a safe environment. Apart from providing a safe home, the organisation has a programme aimed at poorer communities that includes sterilization care.

Wolfshaven

Wolfshaven is a pro-life sanctuary. Since 2000 we have rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed numerous dogs. At present we have 34 permanent residents, not suited for adoption because of age or disabilities. Our biggest need is for funds to have rescued dogs sterilised and vaccinated, and to pay for veterinary treatments these dogs might need.
